How Flor works
Flor lets you launch a coin at the market cap you choose, anywhere from $20K to $100K. Your coin goes live right at that floor with no dev buy, trades on its own bonding curve, and graduates to PumpSwap at 5x the floor with its liquidity locked forever.
How a launch works
- You pick a floor. Any market cap from $20K to $100K, in $5K steps.
- The coin is minted. 1,000,000,000 tokens are created. Mint and freeze authority are revoked in the same transaction. The creator receives no tokens.
- The curve opens at your floor. The curve is seeded with virtual reserves sized so the opening price equals your floor market cap. Nobody, including you, has to buy to get it there.
- People trade. Buys push the price up the curve, sells push it back down. Every coin has its own curve.
- At 5x the floor it graduates. The SOL raised and the remaining tokens move into a PumpSwap pool. The LP tokens are burned, so liquidity is locked forever.
The floor
The floor is the market cap your coin opens at. At launch, the floor is converted from USD into SOL using the live SOL price, and from then on everything about the curve is fixed in SOL.
The floor is also a hard price floor while the coin is on its curve. Every token in circulation was bought from the curve, so selling everything only returns the curve to where it started. The price can return to the floor, but it can't go below it.
The floor is a price floor, not a value guarantee. The opening market cap comes from virtual reserves, not deposited SOL. If you buy above the floor and the price falls back, you lose the difference. After graduation the PumpSwap price is set by the market and can go anywhere.
Bonding curve
Each coin trades against a constant-product curve with virtual reserves. x is the curve's SOL reserve and y is its token reserve:
At launch the token reserve is always y₀ = 1,250,000,000 virtual tokens. The SOL reserve is set from your floor:
A buy of Δx SOL (after the fee) returns y − k / (x + Δx) tokens. A sell of Δy tokens returns x − k / (y + Δy) SOL, minus the fee. Fees are paid on top of the curve and never enter the reserves, so they don't distort the price.
Graduation
On an x · y = k curve the price is x / y. For the price to rise 5x, the SOL reserve has to grow by √5:
When the curve has raised its target, trading on the curve stops. The final buy is capped at the target and any excess SOL is refunded. All the SOL raised and the 309,016,994 remaining tokens are deposited into a new PumpSwap pool.
Those numbers aren't arbitrary. They make the pool open at exactly the graduation price, so the market cap carries straight over at 5x the floor with no jump or gap:
The pool's LP tokens are burned in the same transaction, so the liquidity can never be withdrawn by anyone.
Numbers by floor
Every Flor coin raises about 1.545× its floor to graduate. Use the calculator to see the exact figures at any floor and SOL price.
| Floor | Graduates at | Raised to graduate | Tokens sold on curve |
|---|---|---|---|
| $20K | $100K | ≈ $30.9K | 690.98M |
| $50K | $250K | ≈ $77.3K | 690.98M |
| $100K | $500K | ≈ $154.5K | 690.98M |
Graduation targets are fixed in SOL at launch. The USD figures above assume SOL stays at its launch price.
Token parameters
| Total supply | 1,000,000,000 |
| Decimals | 6 |
| Sold on the bonding curve | 690,983,006 (69.1%) |
| Deposited into PumpSwap at graduation | 309,016,994 (30.9%) |
| Creator / team allocation | 0 |
| Mint authority | revoked at launch |
| Freeze authority | revoked at launch |
| Floor range | $20K – $100K, $5K steps |
| Graduation | 5× floor |
| LP tokens after graduation | burned |
Fees
| When | Fee | Goes to |
|---|---|---|
| Creating a coin | free | You only pay Solana network fees and account rent (about 0.02 SOL) |
| Buying or selling on the curve | 1% | 0.5% to the coin's creator, 0.5% to the protocol |
| Graduation | none | All SOL raised goes into the pool |
| Trading after graduation | PumpSwap fees | Set by PumpSwap |
Curve fees are charged on top of the trade and kept outside the curve reserves. A buy's fee comes out of the SOL you send; a sell's fee comes out of the SOL you receive.
Creating a coin
- Connect a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack).
- Click create coin and enter a name, ticker, description and image.
- Choose your floor. The form shows exactly where the coin opens and where it graduates.
- Approve the transaction in your wallet. The coin is live as soon as it confirms.
You can buy your own coin straight after launch like anyone else, but you never need to. It's already at your floor.
Trading
- Quotes are exact curve math. The amount shown before you trade is calculated from the curve's live reserves.
- Slippage. If other trades land before yours, the price can move. Your transaction fails rather than filling worse than your slippage setting (1% by default).
- The last buy before graduation is capped at the remaining amount, and the excess SOL is refunded in the same transaction.
- After graduation, the coin trades on PumpSwap. The coin page links to the pool.
Risks
- Memecoins are highly speculative. Most go to zero. Only use money you can afford to lose.
- A floor is not backed by deposited SOL. It's the curve's lowest possible price, not a promise anyone will buy at it.
- Anyone can create a coin with any name or image. Check the mint address before you buy.
- Smart contracts can have bugs. Solana network congestion can delay or fail transactions.
